This was a very famous fire in Skokie in the late 70s.(June 27 1977).The GD Searle Company..Several Explosions occurred and 55 gallon drums were going off like rockets..This fire ocurred only days after the 5th alarm at Skokie Lumber.(June 23, 1977)..you can see the ruins from that fire in one of the photos
