My name is Steve Redick and I am a retired senior fire alarm operator with the Chicago Fire Department...I had been on the job for about 35 years ..and have been a "fan" since the late 1960s. I have been an active fire photographer most of my life and have a large collection of images. I hope to share most of my collection on this site. I am starting off the galleries with the photos taken in the 1950s and 60s by my father Warren Redick who is a retired CFD Battalion Chief..He left us in 2014, he lived in Bull Shoals Arkansas. He was an early adopter of Kodachrome film and has many images I consider to be unique and classic. I will endeavor to post most of his work first as this seems to be the images most in demand. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I do and please note that you can order many size prints of ANY of the images you see here..but remember my main purpose here is to share these images with the "firefans" of the world..Be sure and check back often as this is a work in progress! For many years now I I have thousands of photos and videos up for all to enjoy... I am writing this to encourage those of you who enjoy the site to consider making a purchase of a print or 2 to help defray my costs.  if you enjoy the site and the work I have put into it please consider supporting it by making a purchase. The quality of the prints is excellent, and can be ordered in a variety of sizes. Thanks everyone! Steve
